The Indiana Clarinet Experience (ICE) was founded in the summer of 2014 by clarinetists, Kylie Stultz-Dessent and Erik Franklin.

The first annual ICE hosted eleven students in Brown County, Indiana for a five-day music program. Since its founding, ICE has more than doubled the number of participants and expanded to a week-long overnight retreat for pre-college clarinet students from across the state. In addition to clarinet, students study music theory, chamber music, auxiliary instruments, music appreciation, and other topics relating to the field. ICE 2022 will take place on the Purdue University Fort Wayne Campus, June 6 – 11.
